Our planet is changing due to the depletion of natural resources and global warming. Worldwide, glaciers have melted by almost 50% within the last 100 years. Half of the original rain forest has disappeared and deserts expand. Global warming and water scarcity are regular headlines in our news, like disastrous hurricanes and heavy floodings. To preserve the nature and our environment for future generations funds are needed to support and enable a sustainable use and conservation of resources. Creating larger national parks and forest protection sites in Borneo, the Alps or the Amazon basin can save biodiversity and help species protection.
